Company History

Company History

Welcome to COERCO; an established and trusted Australian supplier of innovative polyethylene products; essential for every type of liquid or dry storage, and transportation.

COERCO began as Rapid Plastics (WA) in March of 1993 which later had a subsidiary in the industrial sector, named Multi-Tech. On the 1st of July 2016, the two companies merged into one new brand that is now known as COERCO.

Based in Western Australia we know first hand the wear and tear our range of products frequently encounter. We also know the cost of product failure is too high to contemplate. That’s why we offer this watertight promise; we will provide you with a product that not only performs better, but provides the reassurance of continued reliability.

Now continuing to grow and serve strongly under its new name, COERCO has been supplying Western Australia for decades with a range of innovative products designed to meet the needs of agricultural, mining and commercial sectors demonstrating a wealth of experience and knowledge while delivering unrivalled customer service.

Servicing the Agriculture, Mining and Civil, and Commercial & Environmental sectors, we understand our clients’ needs.  We use only high grade material, offer a manufacturer guarantee for your peace of mind, and in many cases offer Free Delivery within Western Australia.

Our Vision

We strive to be the supplier of choice to the agricultural, mining, civil, commercial and environmental markets, guaranteeing a product of consistent quality manufactured in Australia from premium high-grade materials.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide Australia’s broadest range of engineered poly products that facilitate liquid and dry storage and transport.

System & Product Certification

High-Quality Products You Can Trust

COERCO is an ISO9001:2015 certified company. This international certification demonstrates our commitment to product quality and safety across our entire catalogue.

Every item we produce is manufactured in accordance with all relevant Australian standards and, when applicable, meet with all Department of Health WA, NT and SA approvals. You can be sure that when you purchase from COERCO, you are investing in a high-quality protect that has been expertly designed and rigorously tested to ensure it withstands the toughest of demands.

We create our own virgin polymer material in our in-house hexene polyethylene processing facility. This ensures that we maintain internal quality control from start to finish. We are the only WA Poly Water Tank manufacturer to do this.

All of our tanks are designed and developed under strict international quality control to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, are suitable for drinking water and are fully UV stabilised – essential in the harsh weather conditions of Western Australia.

OHS & Environmental Policies

Environmental Policy

COERCO recognizes the need to ensure all our activities are conducted in a manner which does not have an unnecessary adverse impact on the environment.

To achieve this objective, procedures have been established for the efficient use of material and resources, the maximum recycling of waste product/flash trimmings etc. and the ensuring that all staff are aware of their environmental responsibilities through training and effective lines of communication.

Compliance with this policy will ensure that the interests of all staff and the wider community are protected from any adverse effects.

COERCO recognises its moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work environment for employees, contractors, customers and visitors. This commitment extends to ensuring that the organisation’s operations do not place the local community at risk of injury, illness or property damage.

Occupational Health & Safety Policy

COERCO will:

  • Provide safe plant and systems of work
  • Provide procedures and instructions to ensure safe systems of work
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and current industry standards
  • Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to employees, contractors and customers to ensure their safety
  • Provide support and assistance to employees

Each management representative is accountable for implementing this policy in their area of responsibility. Management is responsible for:

  • The provision and maintenance of the workplace in a safe condition
  • Involvement in the development, promotion and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Training employees in the safe performance of their assigned tasks
  • The provision of resources to meet the health and safety commitment

Employees are to:

  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Report all known or observed hazards to their immediate supervisor or manager

This policy is applicable to all operations and is endorsed at the most senior level of managment.

Our 'Why'

Why Do We Do What We Do?

In everything we do, we believe in changing the market to create opportunities; to improve lives, innovate industry and deliver world-class products.

In every business decision we make; in every consultation we have with a prospective client; in every new product we manufacture and in every day we get up and come to work, we look for opportunities.

The opportunities we seek are not only for the future growth and development of our business, but also for innovation within the agricultural industry and, most importantly, for improving the lives and businesses of our valuable clients.

As a farmer or an agricultural business owner, you face many frustrations and uncertainties of the course of a year. From spiralling operating costs to fluctuations in the price of livestock food; from unpredictable rainfall to hail or frost damage to your crops, there’s a lot riding on factors you can’t control.

At COERCO, our priority is to help. While we can’t claim any influence over the weather or global market prices for your essential operations, we can make your life easier in other ways.

Investing in plastic storage tanks for your farm will increase your operational efficiency, resulting in lower operating costs, reduced labour, less downtime, and crucially – more money.
