Although the Wagin Agri store has only been open for 12 months, it has already expanded its operations with a substantial fencing project to secure previously unused land.
The building originally housed a John Deere dealership and was acquired by Wagin Agri after the business relocated to Narrogin in 2020. Wagin Agri Manager, Dale Painter said the store serviced the rural supply needs for the Shire of Wagin, which includes extensive wheat and sheep farming.
Wagin is located in the heart of the Great Southern 228 kms south east of Perth and is the home of the Giant Ram and Woolorama.
The fenced land located directly next to the building is about 1,500sqm and will provide the business with additional storage area for con stock.
Mr Painter said he planned to store a range of stock items including fencing, water supply products, fertilizer tanks, diesel tanks and other rural supplies on the land.
He said he strived to procure a range of rural supplies for his customers.
Wagin Agri operates with a small team of knowledgeable staff members including an agronomist and an animal health sales staff member.
